Pyrodex RS
In all calibers of punched percussion rifles and shotguns, Hodgdon Pyrodex RS can be used. It is the most versatile powder in the Pyrodex line and has a large application. It brings cleaner and less fouling than black powder, like any other grade of Pyrodex. RS is compared with 2F particle size blackpowder.
The loads shown in the reloader guide should not be greater.
Do not mix two powders irrespective of type, brand or source.
No black powder or black powder replacement ever replace any smokeless powder.
